Longtime Idaho resident Iver Hendrickson's wife dies

Marion Hendrickson received notice Monday morning that his Aunt Mrs Iver Hendrickson died Sunday at her Ashton Idaho home after a long illness from complications. She was about 65, lived in the valley most of her life, married to Ivor Hendrickson and moved to Ashton in 1900. Funeral services were held in Ashton with burial in the Ashton cemetery. Survivors include husband Ivor and eight children Lester Ruthwell Elwood Manila Walton May Midillested Vanda Udlested and Luella Wilson.

Gunnison Bulldogs overwhelm Wasatch academy in big win

The Gunnison Bulldogs routed Wasatch academy 57 to 28 at Mt. Pleasant last Friday. Gunnison led 11 to 4 after the first quarter and piled up 21 in the second, giving Wasatch little chance as Coach Alexander’s squad controlled both ends of the floor. The schedule lists North Sanpete at Gunnison and Ephraim at Gunnison next, with two crucial games remaining to secure the upstate trip.
