Westerman longtime Gunnison resident dies at 72
John A Westerman, 72, a well known Gunnison resident, died at home on the Elgin Bouvang farm from a heart attack. Born in Yeo Sweden on March 17 1876 he came to the United States as a young man. Surviving include a daughter Louise Booth North Hollywood California and one grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 pm at the home of Elgin Bouvang directed by Bishop Lamar Larson of the Hamilton ward. The program included songs and prayers with burial in Gunnison City cemetery and grave dedication by Bishop Lareon.
