School Bonds Carry By Safe Majorities In Gunnison
In the South Sanpete school district a $200,000 high school bond issue and district remodel bonds carried with a safe majority of 85 votes despite opposition from Ephraim Fayette and Sterling. Gunnison precinct showed strong turnout near 60 percent of property taxpayers voting yes. Centerfield nearly all voted yes with 111 to 1, Ephraim opposed 213 to 7, Fayette 35 against and 2 for.
