Independence Day celebration in Gunnison drew a large Valley crowd with a morning parade powered by firework ants and a parade led by Miss Bante Buchanan and Gunnison Valley High School Band. A rodeo featured bucking stock and a back brace accident marred the festivities before a mammoth fireworks display closed the day.
