More than 126 attendees enjoyed a reception, mixed program, dancing, luncheon, and social time with Mel Anderson as master of ceremonies and general chairman. The event featured performances by Lehi Olsen, a male quartet, Ruth Peterson, Nora Rust, Elga Henrie, and Mrs. J. H. Metcalf, followed by hours of dancing. Plans call for annual reunions continuing in the future.

A Mayfield group staged the first skiing party last Monday in Twelve Mile canyon toward Mt. Baldy Ranger station. Elk Hunt Report On Manti Forest Sees 21 Killed Of 125 Permits
Inspector Orange Olsen and State Game Warden Turpin submitted findings from the Manti Elk hunt. Of 125 issued permits, 21 elk were killed, including three spikes, two cows, and one wounded bull, totaling 25 bulls and two cows for the forest. Stomach analyses show regional forage variation with aspen leaves dominating on Trail Ridge and grasses higher in Dry Basin. Total elk seen reached 152 with 40 females, 25 calves, 9 spikes, 19 bulls, and 659 unclassified. cows and heifers at 43 percent. Recommendation calls for fixed hunter allocations to Manti and Fishlake forests to improve camping logistics.
