Pioneer Resident John Larson Called to Rest in Gunnison
John Larson a long time Gunnison resident and pioneer died Sunday at his home after five weeks of illness. He was born in 1840 in Norrby Sweden and settled in Gunnison, active in irrigation and early industry. Survived by his wife Laura, two sons John A. and Joseph A., daughter Lillian G Myrup, twenty four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral Thursday at 2 PM from Gunnison Valley High School with Bishop Leslie Kidman presiding.
