Santa Claus arrives in Gunnison on Saturday December 4 at 2 p m for a two hour meet and greet at the old Guinset Hank Blylding corner Main and Center Streets. The Gunnison Businessmen's Association arranged gifts for each child and feature a special gift line for the weekend.
Kesler T Powell of the Provo district social security office warns farmers with any net profit or over $600 gross income must file an income tax return to show earnings taxed under social security. Returns must include name address and social security number to qualify for future benefits. A Provo district representative will be at City Hall Marti on December 10 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Organization of classes for the Gunnison Valley Evening School will meet Monday at 7 30 pm in room Slr al Gutman Valley High School. Two classes are organized already a industrial arts shop class and a general sewing class. Enrollment of ten members starts Feb 16. Subjects proposed include oil photography current events social security and general law. Fees are 5.00 for a B hour class and 2.50 for a 1 M hour class through ten classes. Anyone interested should attend the meeting.
The annual Gunnison Stake Primary Christmas Social will be held at 3:00 pm in the Gunnison Chapel with all wards participating. The Stake Primary Board hosts the affair and Xmas treats are provided. All ward officers and teachers are invited.
