Between three and four carloads of Gunnison Valley turkeys were shipped by Bayard Tait J D Bartholomew and other raisers. Total birds reached nearly 8000 a valley record with Tuft marketing 1100 and remaining birds on his ranch. Prices ranged 23 to 25 cents per pound wholesale with shipments to New York and Pacific coast points.

Four Gunnison Boys Burglarize Star Market in Weekend Theft
Four youths confessed to burglarizing the Star Market between Saturday night and Sunday morning. They entered with a pass key, stole 465 dollars and a box of chewing gum, and fled. Judge Nielson fined each boy 25 dollars, paroled to parents, and lectured on choosing better paths.

Surgeons found kidney congestion requiring a second operation, delayed by his weakened state.
