November Bride Receives Social Evening at Jones Home
Mr and Mrs F H Jones hosted a family dinner and dance Sunday for the newlyweds Mr and Mrs Douglas Bergeson. Guests included Mrs Bergeson, sister of Mrs Jones, who traveled from Salt Lake City. A five thirty dinner featured holiday decor and a wedding cake centerpiece. The event continued with old time dances and progressive bridge with honors to Mrs Norman and Blaine Larson. Bergeson couple plan a Logan trip and then a coast honeymoon.

Deep Snow in Twelve Mile Canyon Elevates Water Supply
Ranger Ed Cox reported heavy snow in Twelve Mile canyon near Gunnison. He estimated about two and a half to three feet on the mountain tower and noted gullies and ravines were well filled, impacting the valley water supply.

Bryce Canyon council of the Boy Scouts of America elected L. R. Andersen to a new term as president at the Gunnison gathering on November 2. Officers named include M. Nielson, Allred, Fjeldsted, Frandsen, DeLaney, Barker, Matthews, Eckersley and Hatch. District committeemen represented 35 districts with attendees from North Sanpete, Moroni, South Sanpete, Gunnison, and others. Power Company Signs Deal To Supply Manti City
Manti City announces a contract with Telluride Power to provide auxiliary power from Beaver Canyon stations. Rate set at 3 cents per kWh with a 2000 kWh allowance and a maximum $60 payment, transmission to city limits and hookup to local lines. Officials expect full service by the 15th, noting municipally owned plant is inadequate and a new engine would cost about $25,000. Local labor will be used for the transfer.

Western Section Recommendations Support Land Use Plan
The conference on land utilization in Chicago in November 1921 backed western interests. Utah State Agricultural College Director William Petersen said the reclamation recommendation focuses on finishing existing projects and rehabilitating water rights, with no new colonization.
