The death of Lente S Morgan, 10, of Provo, shocked relatives after a heart attack struck during breakfast. Morgan was visiting Gunnison with Delph Sander on a trip to Washington. he had recently lived in Provo and worked at a repair shop owned by his brother Ed Morgan. The boy was born in Nephi in 1884, son of Daniel and Gaynes Morgan.
An event at the mill featured extensive hospitality and gifts to workers and partners. Guests included N Le Hermanen, proprietor of Ye tig milling institution, and Mrs Hermansen. A elaborate dinner followed at 4 o'clock with tables set and various dishes served. The fete honored Teevhew Mille fliabi and Amablermpl for the operation aiding workers, with speeches and ceremony noting gratitude.
Utah’s Secretary of State RR Manne was elected vice president of the National Association of Secretaries for the United States. The ceremony occurred at the annual conference held in Trevilie Netzh New Masapphire on May 1. He will serve as president at next year’s convention.
