Ranger Williams reports hail one foot deep on Quitchupah Ranch near Emery on August 12 and the heaviest flood since 1909 on Muddy and Ferron creeks on August 13. District 2 had little rainfall limiting forage growth. 23 rainbow trout fingerlings were planted in Blue and Lost lakes. the sink from Blue Lake was filled to raise water levels. An October 24 forest ranger exam and October 25–26 sealer exam are planned. Sanpete Emery county gathering on Horse Shoe Flat drew over 7,000 but attendance was cut by bad weather.
