Young Matron Stella Childs Called to Rest in Ephraim
Mrs Stella Childs 24 wife of Gilbert Childs died at Provo from a paralyzed heart after an operation six weeks earlier. Native of Ephraim she lived there, married Gilbert Childs in 1900, and left a 38 year old son and an adopted 2 year old daughter. Final burial will be in Ephraim with family and Gunnison relatives present.

County Attorney M. Edwards Dies After Car Crash
M. Edwards known as Clint died in Salt Lake hospital after an operation for a broken vertebra from a two car collision near Union. He was en route with Sheriff Peterson investigating a drugstore robbery when the crash occurred. Edwards sustained severe injuries including a broken neck and dislocated shoulder.
