Eldest Mayfield Resident Paid Final Tribute
The eldest resident of Nishfield, Saree Martenaen, died August 10 after a heart attack in Gunni con Valley Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at Mayfield Ward Chapel with burial in Mayfield City Cemetery. Born May 20, 1874 in Torham Sweden, he immigrated to Utah in 1903 and contributed to the Giannlaon Valley, marrying Eveline Oloen on July 24, 1905. He owned the Mayfield Roller Mill and served on the Mayfield Tower Board. Surviving: wife Eveline, daughters Mrs James Hawthorne Park For eat Huoi, Mrs Earl Poulsen Salt Lake City, four sisters, and four grandchildren. Interment by Royal Whitlock Sr.
