Marie Gledhill, 13, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gledhill, was run down by a Richfield driver, R. J. Johnson, while bicycling with friends on the Sanpitch bridge en route to a sugar factory. She suffered a bad head cut with arterial bleeding, severe bruises, and shock but was revived and taken home after first aid at Dr. Hagan's. The bicycle was demolished.
