Seven Year Old Girl Loses Life In Mayfield Fire
A Mayfield home burned early Wednesday killing seven year old Tila Hansen and badly burning 26 year old Pearl Hansen while 21 year old Lorenzo Hansen suffered arm burns. Pearl, after rescuing her sister, remained conscious and the family heroically tried to save the child. The blaze, likely caused by defective wiring, destroyed the house and contents except one trunk as neighbors and local services responded.

Olive Gunderson Dies Sudden at Home in Christenburg
Olive Gunderson 16, daughter of Mr and Mrs Martin Gunderson, formerly of Gunnison, died suddenly at home last Sunday night. Born in Park Valley and once in Salt Lake City, she studied at Washington School and remained active in the L D S Church.
