Thieves stole three tires gasoline and globes while they sheltered in Santaquin overnight to seek repairs. They ask authorities to identify the culprits behind the road thefts in Utah County.

Funeral services for W. B. Marshall were held at the Relief Society hall with Bishop George Bartholomew officiating. Speakers included F. L. Swalberg W. C. Mellor and Bartholomew, praising his cheerful disposition and social life in Fayette. Miss Gladys Larson sang a solo as the casket lay under wreaths. Burial followed at Gunnison cemetery.

Telluride Power founder L L Nunn dies in Los Angeles
Local Telluride Power office closed and draped in mourning last Saturday in honor of L L Nunn founder and former president. Nunn died at his Los Angeles home last Thursday and funeral services were held Saturday. Offices in Southern Utah also paid respects. Nunn was a notable figure in Utah and the southern region served by the company.

Centerfield Man Answers Last Call
Christian H. Christiansen of Centerfield died at his home Monday night after a lengthy illness from heart and lung trouble. Born in Denmark in 1855 he came to America and settled in Filmore before moving to Gunnison and finally Centerfield. He is survived by two daughters Mrs. E B Bardsley and Mrs. R C Swalberg and a son J Henry Christiansen, plus two sisters. He was a long serving member and former missionary of the Mormon church.

The Gunnison Valley welcomes new residents with several births this week. Four arriving families are farmers, including two Centerfield homes, with Leo Christensen and Niels Larson families noted. A girl was born yesterday to Mr and Mrs Niels P Gregerson. Additional baby boys arrived to Mr and Mrs A B Nelson and Mr and Mrs Thaddius Hansen in Gunnison and Centerfield on April 4 and 6.
