Griggs County Fair Association Holds Annual Meeting
The Griggs County Fair Association met at the firehall in Coopertown on March 11. Directors were elected for two years, including David Bartlett and Maynard Crane, with additional one-year appointees. Treasurer’s report showed a flourishing, well managed year with $800 in profit and all bills paid. Hanavor d Ramsland joins Arestad Jackson firm
Magnus Ramsland arrived from Sacred Heart Minnesota last Wednesday and has accepted a position with Arestad and Jackson. Miss Marie Tollefson spent spring vacation at Valley City and may have toured Cooperstown. Failing to appear Miss Guinness substituted for her. Woodmen from Darey camp attended Ed Everson’s initiation Saturday. Ed has been sore and stiff since. Mrs N K Marlwood and Alfred Olson took Miss Nettie Olson back to her school at Jessie Sunday morning.
