Republicans sweep in all Greenwich races
Republican candidates dominated Greenwich elections with a near 3 to 1 advantage in districts 149 151 and 150. Twoterm state Senator William Nickerson won 15856 votes over Democrat Peter Gasparino 8226, as crowd at Milbrook Club celebrated the GOP sweep and Clinton Gore national result echoed outside.

High school mock election favors Clinton and Gore at Greenwich
Greenwich High School students backed Clinton and Gore in a mock election last week with 39 percent of the vote. Perot and Stockdale ran close at 36 percent, while Bush and Quayle had 25 percent. About half the students voted. The League of Women Voters sponsored the poll, running Monday to Thursday.
