Father’s Day Memory of an Inventor Father
I recall my father, an inventor in Bridgeport, teaching me patience with machines and fueling my love of reading. Our porch talks on summer evenings, shared chocolate almonds, and faith in life’s values remain vivid. He died at 41, and on Father’s Day I’d give him a neatly wrapped gift, perhaps a necktie or more almonds.
