Clark seeks to block Mead lease in town meeting action
Marshall Clark chair of the Cost Containment Committee plans to ask the RTM on Monday night to reject a Mead School for Human Development lease of the Dundee School. He cites lack of a town wide surplus property policy and questions about using tuition credits as rent and their impact on enrollment and wages. He notes unclear allocations and decision makers and says the town may receive no cash payment. The Board of Selectmen approved a ten year lease with a renewal option and potential after ten years if the building is needed for public schools.
