Greenwich selectmen ban vendors on Greenwich Avenue and nearby districts
The Board of Selectmen voted to bar all vendors except food sellers from Greenwich Avenue and adjacent commercial districts including Cos Cob and Old Greenwich, with two Cos Cob fire station vendors exempt. The ban excludes municipal parking lots as Chief Moughty reviews ordinances and will propose changes. An overnight commercial vehicle parking ban on residential streets was also approved, pending Police Department approval.
