Christmas in April Lightens Greenwich Homes
Nearly 1,800 volunteers helped fix up 57 homes and four nonprofit facilities in Stamford and Greenwich as part of the nationwide Christmas in April program started in Texas. Greenwich High School students with the Community Learning Program contributed cosmetic repairs to Old Greenwich resident Hazel A. Johnson’s home dating to 1898, praising their diligent work.
