Arne and Vera Forsberg, aged 89 and 66, left Stockholm six months ago with no plan, traveling through Malaysia Singapore Australia New Zealand Fiji and the United States on a tight budget. They stayed in YM CAs or with friends, observing elder care in each country and recounting adventures from hitchhiking in Australia to wading ashore in a fishing boat in Malaysia and sleeping in a police station in San Francisco before returning home to Stockholm.
