1290 Regiment Here for Reunion
Survivors of the 123rd Indiana regiment visit Decatur County for a reunion with veterans and friends. The unit, formed in 1863, trained on North Broadway, fought at Peach Tree Creek and Nashville, and was mustered out in Raleigh in 1865. Wiancko of Purdue named judge for a county and township countywide competition with white and yellow corn.

Auto Crash Injures One in Shelbyville Route
An automobile owned by Floyd McCarty and driven by Russell Hogue collided with another car near the Flat Rock river bridge south of St. Paul. Adolph Hey suffered both ankles sprains after being thrown from the McCarty vehicle. The Shelbyville party had been riding with Hogue after a Greensburg trip.
