Bartholomew county officials seek William A. Parker formerly of 123 North Monfort in Columbus over a $25 worthless check given to Sherman Doles on Michigan Avenue. Parker left town nearly two months ago and is believed headed toward Illinois. Local inquiries from Indianapolis intensified as investigators chase his whereabouts.

Mrs. Bessie Mahalah Goodwin aged 81 died at two o clock this morning at her daughter Mrs Lynn Adams home on East Main street cause paralysis. The body was shipped to Cartonville Ga the old home of the family. A son E J Goodwin and the daughter survive.
