Reverend Heritage Leaves Greensburg Church

The congregation voted unanimously to refuse his resignation on November 3 but later accepted that severance was best, with his final service on December 1 and a likely move to Cincinnati for a new call. Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Miller in Clarksburg
Mrs Elizabeth Miller died at her Clarksburg home Thursday night at 77. Funeral held Saturday at the M E church with Rev M S Taylor and Rev Dugan officiating. She leaves two brothers John S Minler and George S Miller three sisters Mrs Sharp Miss Julia Miller and Miss Mattie Miller and a step daughter Mrs Hedges Connersville. Her husband, a township trustee, died five years ago. She had no children and lived with her sisters since her husband’s death.

Narrow Escape From Fire at Moler Home
Two Moler children Edna and Laura escaped a blaze in night clothing when a fire broke out on the lower floor of E T Moler house at 415 East Race street Greensburg. Chief Van Benbow and Station No 1 firefighters restrained the flames, saving the two rooms and belongings worth about 150 dollars. Mrs Moler suffered heart trouble but recovered. Origin of the fire remains undetermined.
