A half dozen touring cars carried an artist and an eastern postcard representative to McCoy lake and park yesterday morning. Hon Jethro C Meek led local press in a Studebaker. About thirty people watched at the spilway while a view of passenger train No 15 passed at 10 10. George Kanouse and Everett Arbuckle tested the lake’s bathing properties and found them all right.

Mrs Andrew Swango Undergoes Major Operation
Mrs. Andrew Swango of Mechanicsburg underwent an important operation yesterday morning at the Good Health sanitarium on North East street. Drs. Sexton and Green of Rushville led the case with Drs. Kercheval of this city and McKee of Newpoint assisting. The procedure was successful and the patient is expected to recover. Miss Jennie Commiskey of Indianapolis is in charge of the case.
