Family man dies suddenly on road in Indiana
Roman Eder a 39 year old husband and father of four died from heart failure while helping drive a cattle herd near the Icke Reed farm north of town. He collapsed after leaving his car to assist. coroner notified and the body taken to his home. Surviving wife and children Gilbert Omer Henry and Louise mourn his loss. Eder had lived in Jennings County and was active in St Marys church and local Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society.

Deal Man Called to Identify Thief
Walter Parker of the A P Pow and Scen s garage was asked to identify a young man detained in Lafayette in connection with the theft of a Ford Sedan. Three men are held. one, about 28, suspected of visiting the area on Thanksgiving and seeking a road to Madison. The car is said to have been stolen from Indianapolis on December 10, and the three suspects will be taken to Indianapolis for trial.

Funeral of veteran at Connersville
Ira Clark Mrs Thomas Draper Mr and Mrs C R Miller and Em mett Clark will attend the funeral of Rev Jesse Miler in Connersville tomorrow. He died in a Cincinnati hospital yesterday aged 83 born at Clarksburg in 1838 and served in the 123rd Indiana during the Civil War. He was a Methodist minister for forty years and retired after his wife’s death ten years ago. He leaves two sons Fred and Cliff in Connersville and two daughters Mrs Myrtle Peters of Indianapolis and Mrs Fred Harris of Cincinnati. Ora Miller, a son, died here about thirty years ago.
