Kingston Presbyterians Gathered in the 1830s Church Unity
The Kingston Presbyterian society organized with members from Kentucky and Indiana churches. Elders Samuel Donnell Jr John Hopkins and John C McCoy joined, while several early members came from Bourbon and Nicholas counties Kentucky. Local church buildings evolved from a log cabin to several frames and bricks, with the present edifice erected in 1883 after a 1882 fire.
