Young Woman Dies After Surgery in Columbus Hospital
Miss Mae Johnston aged 23 daughter of Mr and Mrs Cliff E Johnson of Jackson township died at five this morning in Columbus hospital after gallstone surgery Tuesday. She had been ill a year and treated three weeks in hospital. Funeral Sunday at eleven in Waynesburg Christian church with burial in Union cemetery. She leaves her parents three brothers Earl Chester Frank and two sisters Mary and Opal plus many relatives and friends. The body was brought home today by Kirby and Howe ambulance.

End of Free Auto Plates as 1923 Licenses Begin

Destructive Fire Near Burnsville Destroys Fulton Farm Home
A six room Fulton farm residence one mile east of Burnsville near Alert burned last night around 2 am. A hurricane gale fed the flames. the First M E church had a social at the home earlier. The insurance did not fully cover damages and Mary Fulton, ill for days, fell gravely ill from exposure with fever and possible pneumonia. The family now stays with Ebert Talkington.
