Emmert to Build Grand Residence in Clarksburg
Jacob Emmert will commence building a fine residence 28 soon as weather permits with M. L. Clarkson as architect. It is expected to be modeled on a grander scale than anything Clarksburg has seen. Tarleton Bell remains very sick. One fox was captured at the drive last Saturday. Clarksburg sees an influx of doctors. The little folks enjoyed a masquerade party at William Evick's Monday. Peter Lewis, eldest son of Isaac Lewis, died at his father's residence Tuesday morning. The B C will give an oyster supper this month. Jno Walters was initiated into Bachelorhood at the last meeting. Another candidate, found worthy, will be admitted next meeting. Mr Beagles had a new stairway built to the Odd Fellow's Hall.
