Aged Lady Barnard Dies at Newpoint in Rossburg
Mrs. Sarah C Barnard aged 97 died at her son William Barnard's home in Newpoint Thursday night. Funeral conducted Sunday at two o clock at Rossburg. Maiden name Sarah C Barkley born Kentucky February 26 1825 came to this county as a child married to George Barnard April 1856. Husband died April 18 1902. Survived by son and Mrs W E Johnson of Newpoint and grandson Clyde Barnard. She was a longtime member of the Rossburg Baptist church.
