Big Four Conductor William Lesler Dies in New York
William Lesler, longtime Big Four conductor and well known here, died Saturday at his New York City home. He was 72, born in Suoman, and leaves a widow, two sons, and two daughters. His body was brought to Indianapolis for burial Monday. He was a former local conductor who retired due to ill health and later moved east.
