Three city post office clerks were examined by a Railway Mail Service examiner for Indiana distribution. H E West achieved 103 separations with 816 cards handled error free at 24 per minute. W H Davis 105 separations 816 cards 99.63 percent at 26.2 per minute. H R Anderson 118 separations 835 cards 99.76 percent at 21.9 per minute. All surpassed the 95 grade and 18 per minute speed requirements.

New City Hall To Be Dedicated In December
The Indianapolis sun reports a new city hall opening with a public session and a 7 30 reception. Lights arrive December 19. doors open December 20 with a decor scheme copying the statehouse for delegates. Montani brothers orchestra of thirty will perform under director Nicholas Montani. Gov Marshall and Mayor Shank expected to speak, speeches capped at ten minutes.

Dowden Case Kept Alive on Continuance Granted
A continuance granted at defense counsel request keeps the criminal case pending in court against Robert Metzger former police superintendent Adolph Asch and Sergeant Charles Baumfuhrer charged with assault and battery on attorney Samuel Dowden.
