Enrollment reached over 200, with 56 in the high school, established about 25 years ago by J W Birchfield and later led by Braden Jerman and Rhodes. Has Old Powder Horn From War of 1812
William Wright, an insurance solicitor, saw a 102 year old powder horn owned by Thomas A. Hendricks of Stone Head in Brown County. The horn, carved with 1811, traces to Hendricks family lineage including the former Indiana governor Thomas A. Hendricks. The elder Hendricks helped carry the horn in the War of 1812 and obtained it from a Pennsylvania tannery run by John Hendricks.
