Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary of Henry W Vogel and Wife
Henry W Vogel and his wife celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in Covington Kentucky renewing their vows from 1858 at St Josephs church. A program at St Marys church featured Mendelssohns wedding march Rev Lawrence Fichter address Rosewigs mass and music by Henry Huber. Grandchildren served as servers and flower bearers. A reception followed at their home. Both born in German regions they immigrated to the United States and settled in Covington later living in Greensburg and Decatur county with nine children born to the couple, seven living.
