At Greensburg on Saturday March 17 1906 the Democratic County Central Committee elected Wm. Ryan as Chairman and Charles H. Ewing as Secretary after George P. Shoemaker declined the post. Henry E. Black stood in as secretary briefly. The meeting also affirmed a platform pledging a clean campaign with no use of corruption funds.
