Hanna Cuts Wages Strike Ordered by National Workers Association

Altoona Pa May 28 The executive board of the National Mine Workers association has voted to call a strike of workers at thirteen lake trade coal companies over a proposed pay cut to 54 cents per ton. Patrick Dolan president of the Pittsburg district miners says the men are ready to strike and hopes small operators will aid. Orders for the strike are to be issued next Monday.
