Viers Brother Paratrooper Earns Wings at Fort Bragg
Dennis L Viers son of Mr and Mrs Gene Viers arrived at Fort Bragg North Carolina from Fort Benning Georgia after three weeks of jump training. He completed five qualifying jumps the first part of the week and received his wings on Thursday. He will join a permanent Fort Bragg unit. John McWhirter of Allison, volunteer county savings bonds chairman, reported that Series E and H sales in September in Butler county totaled $76,271, bringing nine month county sales to $682,137.
