Growth of Educational Television Expands Audience

A tabulation shows 20,000,000 can access educational television in the United States, the largest audience since television began after World War II. The movement has grown slowly but picks up pace with 29 stations on air and more to come, aiming for at least 50 by year’s end. There is concern pay television could threaten free channels set aside for education.
