Greene City council approves budget and bills for 1975 76
The February 3 1975 Greene City monthly meeting led by Mayor Pro-tem Marvin Nelson approved the budget for July 1 1975 through June 30 1976 after no objections. The council adopted the tax levy and accepted water sewer analyses and various payments including a cigarette permit for Heitland's Gas & Grocery. Butler County Sheriff Issues Two Concealed Permit Types
Sheriff Marvin W. Barth reports two concealed weapons permit types in Butler County. About 300 permits cover target practice hunting and trapping, while roughly 30 permits are for Peace Officers. The Union Busy Bees 4-H Club met in Town Hall in January with pledge led by Jackie Gerhard and New Years Resolution roll call. Members received worksheets and packets, Ann Swinton led the pledge, Dawn Carney and Susan Tack presented Pillow Talk and Stone Sculpture, Becky Staudt and Michelle Enabait presented, Karen Chambers handled recreation, and punch and cookies were served by Sherry Ewald, Karen Chambers, and Madonna Dolan. A sledding party was planned.
