Grace Thomason won the color TV in the Commercial Club drawing held Saturday. Brenda Cassmann and Patty Brannon each won a 10 Speed bicycle. Phyllis Burroughs took $100 Greenebucks. Harold Schafer and Joyce Nygaard and Mrs Fay Miller each won $50 or $25. Several certificates were awarded to a list of local residents. Seventeen and under winners included Sandi Schafer and Ricky Ritter.

The 1974 Census of Agriculture by the Bureau of the Census will update 1969 farm data for Butler and Floyd Counties. County Directors urge full cooperation. forms mailed around Jan 1. Data remain confidential and are aggregated to county and state totals. In 1969 Floyd County had 1326 farms with sales totaling $28,851,970 and an average of $21,758 per farm. Butler County 1692 farms with $34,469,885 in sales and $21,570 per farm.
