African Violets Grow Tips and Hand Pollination
Hand pollination of African Violets yields bi color forms by crossing Pink Lady with Blue Boy or Blue Girl, while thrips infection can stunt growth. For best results, sow seed in a mix of equal sand soil and peat moss, keep moisture even, top with rubbed sphagum moss, and cover with glass. If needed, water via a saucer before germination.
