John Jacob Goodman of Monroe County Ky born 1783 in North Carolina now 97. He moved in 1804 and has lived there 75 years as a distiller past age 65 could lift a 40 gallon barrel of whisky. He has 32 children from two marriages, 27 of whom married, and 62 years a Baptist, 42 years church clerk, lifelong Democrat who rarely missed elections.
