Accident injures Patrick Sage on L N A C R L near depot
A serious railroad mishap last Wednesday evening on the L N A C R line near the north depot left Patrick Sage, a section hand, bruised after the hand car jumped the track during a rapid approach to a switch. He has not fully recovered to describe the incident.

Four horses quartered Rescue Williswood Bugger and a unnamed candidate possibly Grayback. Readers learn of the marriage of Geo O Currie and Carrie Smith at Perrysville July 14. A note from Indianapolis Sentinel reports a faculty meeting at Asbury University filling two vacant instructorships with Prof H H Brooke and Mr H B Longden. Brooke is a Greencastle gentleman. the Board praised the selections.
