The notice announces licenses to marry for Thomas F. Stevens with Nancy E. Etche son, Joseph H. Coverhill with Florence M. Waln, Edward Leatherman with Alma Shinn, Jacob Walker with Lizzie Voris, William Eckels with Sarah Lewis, Elsworth Evans with Rosetta M. Shoemaker, and John Underwood with Florence B. Vaught. Thomas Hart, a famed stone mason and bridge foreman for the Indianapolis and St. Louis Railroad, fell about twenty five feet from the White River bridge in Indianapolis. He died hours later at the Surgical Institute. Remains were sent home by midnight train. Also reported are obituaries of Eliza J Hipson, William Cox, Carrie B Stoner, Eliza Reeves, and Hezekiah Floyd.
