Demus Duell aged 64 of Lyford died at the Indiana state penal farm in Putnamville on Saturday from pneumonia after eight days of illness. He had been sentenced in Parke circuit court at Rockville for liquor law violations and had served four months. Survived by widow and five children, funeral held at Lyford church Monday at 2 pm with burial in Riverside cemetery.
