Henry Meyers, a commercial place teamster, sought 200 dollars for a horse killed by a traction car. He had been awarded a judgment in a justice court, and the jury�s decision remained unresolved in this higher proceeding.
Henry Myers, a Commercial Place teamster, sued for 200 damages after a traction car killed his horse in 1910. The jury, split 3 to 3, was dismissed by Judge Hughes at four o clock Friday afternoon. Myers had previously won 150 in a Justice court but the Traction Co appealed to the Circuit Court.
