City Hall Heat Plant Recommended For Better Service
City council Tuesday night heard a recommendation to replace the present heating system in City Hall and the fire department building with a vacuum steam plant from American Radiator Co of Indianapolis. The plant would cost about 1900 to install and pay for itself in about ten years through lower coal costs and steadier temperatures. The matter was referred to the mayor for study. The meeting also approved a 4000 payment on a new fire truck, with the balance due after the old truck is returned. An underwriters report showed the truck passed tests satisfactorily.

Danville Indiana September 25 Mot orists on Cartersburg road complained a horse and buggy did not yield at a signal. Charles Funkhouser 50 of Danville area died en route home from heart disease according to Hendricks county coroner Dr W T Lawson. Survived by widow and six children.

Three Die In Ohio Crossing Crash Near Kingsville
At the New York Central crossing near Kingsville C seven miles west of Conneaut three were killed and one feared fatally injured shortly before noon. Victims include Mrs C H Lockwood 27 and Victor Lockwood 5 of Kingsville and Friend Hatch Waterford Pa. Vivian Lockwood 3 was expected to die. The bodies were taken to the station for coroner disposition.
