Speedway Tragedy at Los Angeles 1920 Race
Gaston Chevrolet and Lyall Jolls were killed in a 240 mile Los Angeles speedway crash during the 1920 race. Eddie O Donnell died shortly after from head fractures and multiple injuries. Roscoe Sarles won the race with a 2 25 20 time as Miller Hearn and Murphy filled the top five.
